1. Cách thuyết trình bày bằng tiếng Anh về trường học

Cấu trúc cơ bản bài thuyết trình:

1.1. Phần mở đầu

Để mở đầu các bạn sẽ bắt đầu bằng những câu chào hỏi, để lấy được tinh thần trước khi nói:

– Hello everyone/ everybody, My name is…:  Xin chào mọi người, tên của tôi là…

– Ladies and gentlemen!: Kính chào quý vị đại biểu!

Giới thiệu đề tài của bài thuyết trình thường sử dụng những câu sau:

– I’m going to talk about…… (Tôi sẽ nói về………)

– I will take a look at…… (Tôi sẽ nói qua về…….)

– I will tell you something about the background of …… (Tôi sẽ nói cho các bạn vài điều căn bản về……)

– I will fill you in on the history of…….. (Tôi sẽ cho các bạn nghe lịch sử của……)

– I want to concentrate on ……….. (Tôi muốn tập trung nói về ……)

– Today I am here to present to you about …: Tôi ở đây hôm nay để trình bày với các bạn về…

– I would like to present to you …: Tôi muốn trình bày với các bạn về …

– As you all know, today I am going to talk to you about….: (Như các bạn đều biết, hôm nay tôi sẽ trao đổi với các bạn về…)

– I am delighted to be here today to tell you about…(Tôi rất vui được có mặt ở đây hôm nay để kể cho các bạn về…)

1.2. Phần nội dung chính

– Đầu tiên là nhận định của bạn về đề tài được nói đến. Sau đó trình bày chi tết về đề tài này. Bạn phải nói chân thực, mạch lạc từng ý và có ví dụ chứng minh để bài nói thêm sinh động.

– Khi triển khai ý, nếu được, hãy cố gắng vận dụng trải nghiệm thật của bản thân hoặc những thông tin thực tế thay vì bài mẫu thuộc lòng. Bài nói của bạn nhờ đó sẽ tự nhiên hơn, gây thiện cảm cho người nghe.

1.3. Phần kết bài

Ở phần này bạn phải chốt lại vấn đề đước nói đến, tóm tắt lại với các câu sau đây:

– That brings me to the end of my presentation. I’ve talked about….:Tôi xin dừng bài nói hôm nay tại đây. Tôi vừa nói về…

– To summarize, I ….: Tóm lại, tôi …

– I hope that my presentation today will help you with what I said: Tôi hy vọng bài thuyết trình của tôi hôm nay sẽ giúp bạn hiểu rõ hơn những nội dung tôi đã đề cập.

Kết thúc bài nói thì bạn nên cảm ơn mọi người:

– Thank you for listening / for your attention: Cảm ơn bạn đã lắng nghe/ tập trung

– Thank you all for listening, it was a pleasure being here today: Cảm ơn tất cả các bạn vì đã lắng nghe, thật là một vinh hạnh được ở đây hôm nay.

– Well that’s it from me. Thanks very much: Vâng, phần của tôi đến đây là hết. Cảm ơn rất nhiều.

– Many thanks for your attention: Cảm ơn rất nhiều vì sự tập trung của bạn.

– May I thank you all for being such an attentive audience: Cảm ơn các bạn rất nhiều vì đã rất tập trung.

Một số ví dụ cơ bản

Example 1

Hello! My name is hoa. Today I’d like to tell you about my school. My school’s name Ly Thuong Kiet secondary school. It locates on Duy Tan street. It is very beautiful and very big. My school has a front yard and a back yard. The front yard has many flowers, trees, head flag, and a playground. The backyard has a play ground . My school has 40 teachers, 1000 students and 30 rooms. I hopeI will be a good student of Ly Thuong Kiet secondary school. I love my school, my teachers and my friends very much. Because they are very friendly and always help me whenever I need. Thank you all for listening, it was mt pleasure being here today

Example 2

Currently, I am a student in a junior high school. It takes 15 minutes to walk from my house to school. Every day I walk to school. My school has yellow color. It is located in the middle of a large land. There are many trees around the school. The schoolyard is very large. We often organize collective activities here. My school has a multi-purpose training ground. We will learn gymnastics here. Also, we can play sports here during recess. With different subjects we will study in separate classrooms. My favorite is the lab. We use it to study chemistry. Here are the tools to do the experiment. However, we can only use it with the consent of the teacher. The teachers at my school love their students very much. Teachers always try to have good and effective lectures. In addition to learning, teachers and us share everyday stories. My friends are very kind and friendly. We learn together and play together. I love this school. I hope I will study well to honor my school. Many thanks for your attention

Example 3

My school has many classrooms and suites for the administration. In the middle of the schoolyard is a flagpole with a proud national flag. In the school yard are old oak trees that shade the whole school. I really enjoy recess, because I can play games under the shade of the eagle tree. My school is 3 floors high with many beautiful classrooms, I love my school and I always go to school every day to study with my friends. Going to the school where I am studying, the teachers let us study and discover many new things. Although I have studied here for 5 years, I still love this school because this school has many good memories attached to me. If I go far in the future, I still remember this childhood school forever.

Example 4

I am studying in a gifted school of a big city, so my school is a very interesting place to talk about. We have about 20 classrooms which are divided into three stairs, and they are not including rooms for teachers, canteen, sport and computer rooms. All of our classes are equipped with computers, projectors, microphones, loudspeakers, and some of them even have air conditioners. Next to the classroom block is our library. It is pretty big with a lot of books, and sometimes I think that it contains all of the books that one student may need. Behind it is our mini indoor stadium, where we spend our Physical education classes. Since most of the area is used to build rooms, we have very little place for our school yard. It is only enough for us to sit really close to each other to salute the flag on every Monday. There are just some big trees on the yard, and we have some benches under those trees to rest and enjoy the fresh air. Most of the students stay in their classrooms or go to the canteen during break time since we cannot play anything on the school yard. Fortunately, the canteen is big and comfortable enough for us to spend a good time. There are many different kinds of snacks, drinks as well as chairs there, so we can sit there while eating our favorite food. Because this is a gifted school, studying hours can be very stressful. We need to study for about 8 hours a day, and summer vacation only lasts for a month. Although we have to try really hard to be good enough for the school, I am sure we will miss it very much once we graduate.
