“Bau” means pond, puddle; “White” is the white sand color of the surrounding sand dunes. Bau Trang is a freshwater lake located between sand dunes stretching to the top. Previously, Bau Trang was a large lake, blocked by sand dams by people, so it was divided into 2 small lakes, Bau Ong and Bau Ba.
Between the successive sand dunes, the scorching sun makes the scene blurry like the Sahara desert.
In the heart of an endless stretch of white sand, Bau Trang is like a green oasis in the middle of a dry desert with cool blue lakes. From April to May, lotuses in the lake compete to bloom, the already beautiful scenery is now more magical.
